What goes up must come back down
3 runners ran to help an isolated older person in Hackney.
- Tuesday, 10th of December 2019
On a wet and windy Tuesday night Anne, Jatin and I met in Hackney to give Mrs E a hand rearranging some furniture. It was a simple task of moving a folded bed upstairs and a sofa bed back down, the opposite of the job previously done by some other GoodGymers. Although we were initially a bit concerned about negotiating the stairs it all went very smoothly, especially thanks to Mrs E’s handy tip of taking the sofa bed out the front door rather than getting it stuck on a tight corner. Within 20 minutes we were done leaving plenty of time for us to take a bad photo and for Anne and Jatin to get to the hackney group run.
