Rebecca and Anne met up rather early to help set up the start and finish line for the Surrey Half organized by “aat events”.

We were delighted to cheer, amongst other friends, three GoodGymers who took part in the different races:

  • Monica, one of the very first members of GoodGym Woking, ran the 5 kms. She is still an active member of our group as she visits regularly her “coach”. Monica is raising funds to Help set up a Community Library in Gathanji Kenya, the village she is from.
  • Adam and James ran the half marathon with James achieving a PB and Adam not far behind! James even had an accolade from the mayor of Woking!

We were also impressed by the style of running shoes on display at the start line…

Well done to our three champions!
