2 runners ran to help an isolated older person in Newham.

Mrs B wanted some help to get back control of her garden. Although it was still in relatively good shape, after a recent bereavement the weeds had begun to take over.

This was Mrs B’s first visit from GoodGym and she was very impressed that we had run all the way here and were planning to run back!

After chatting to Mrs B, we quickly got to work weeding the boarders and trimming the grass. The sun shone down and a drumming workshop nearby helped to keep us in time.

When (most of) the weeds were gone, we gave it a sweep, bagged up the trimmings and drank a refreshing glass of orange squash before leaving Mrs B to enjoy the rest of her Saturday.
