Weed don't need no vegetation!

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.

Met Latoya at the property on a sunny Thursday afternoon and we promptly met Mrs L, who took us out to her garden.

We were there to finish off a gardening task started on a previous mission by some other Goodgymers who had cut back some plants. Mrs L asked us to pull up some weeds, cut back the branches of the overhanging trees and bushes and clear the garden path of sprawling ivy.

We set to work with hedge clippers, a rake and a shovel and barely noticed 45 minutes passing, mostly managing to avoid falling in a hole in the lawn. Mrs L brought us out some water to quench our thirst and told us about the various bushes and flowers growing in the garden.

We managed to fill up two gardening bags and swept clean the path of ivy and earth. Mrs L thanked us, and we took the bags out to the street. All in all a job well done!
