We Wish You a Weed Free Christmas

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.

Ms D has a sizable patio bordered by flower beds and weeds were taking over. She called on the help of GoodGym to clear the blitz the weeds and allow her to enjoy her garden again. Anne turned up for her last GoodGym task of the year and got stuck in.

Another helpful GoodGymer had already paid a visit and done the bulk of the work, for which both Ms D and Anne were very grateful!

However, there was one corner the last volunteer hadn't had time to tackle and it was in need of attention. This was the focus of attention and although the worst of the weeds came out easily, there were also grasses, dandelions and other stubborn intruders which were less easy to shift.

After a good hour of pulling, digging and coaxing, the bulk of the offending vegetation was bundled into bags, despite the wind doing it's best to redistribute it around the garden.
