Benjamin and Sam came to assist Borough Food Cooperative on Wednesday afternoon. There were more volunteers than usual that came to assist, but the delivery didn't arrive until after 15:00 and even then the delivery that needed to be stored away was less than expected. It was all done in 10 minutes. Plenty of pickled onions to be had.
This task supported
The food cooperative provides members with low cost food to help reduce food bills and tackle food insecurity. It also reuses surplus food to prevent food being thrown away.
