We didn't SCREW that one up, in fact we NAILED it
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Kingston upon Thames.
- Thursday, 17th of March 2022
Twas a beautiful morning in the Royal borough of Kingston upon Thames - when Rob met Rachel at the end of Mrs B's road. The two keen runners were warmly greeted by Mrs B who outlined the issue - her light was out. To add to the drama the light was situated in an awkward spot on the stairs and the fitting was almost as old as I... but after a good deal of screwing and flicking of the switch, we discovered that the bulb wasn't to blame at all... it was the fitting that was a bit loose. So back in went the old bulb and PING Mrs B 's light was restored to its former glory. Unfortunately in the process of Mrs B getting the ladder up the stairs, a wall ornament had fallen off its supportive nail - so off she went to find a hammer. Finding the old hole was not a problem for this experienced duo and the nail was re inserted to offer its firm support again. Off trotted R&R back the way they came - to the glorious tweeting of Kingston's birds.
