Ealing

Mission

Vicious Recycle

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.

After a successful trilogy, it can be daunting to come back to a cult theme and produce a quality piece of work. It's been 11 months since Sevan and Kash visited Ms C together last time, and over a year since their very first mission together, also at Ms C's. Between those missions, they visited the lady as a part of their grand kung fu day. Now they were about to return to South Ealing, already hyped by Mission Control Dave as a top team. The expectations were high!

Intentionally or not, the fourth instalment of Sevan & Kash's adventures at Ms C's recycled plenty of elements from the previous parts:

  • Ms C returning from a shop at the beginning of the mission
  • The GoodGymers starting weeding in the front garden while waiting for Ms C to unlock the backyard
  • Sevan trimming a rose bush to a perfect height
  • Ms C serving cold water

To avoid accusations of ripping off from their own past productions, the authors of the 2023 episode packed some fresh ideas into the narrative:

  • New weeds - bigger and harder to pull!
  • A broken shed
  • Discovery of a faceless, broken wristwatch hidden in the weeds
  • A sycamore tree cut down with a Stanley knife (don't ask...)

There might be a suspicion that Sevan and Kash, after finishing with the front garden, didn't complete all the tasks at the back to continue milking the franchise and return to Ms C for another task. We believe that the back garden was wildly overgrown and the volunteers simply ran out of time.
