Six of us made the trip over to Cody Dock yesterday. Buoyed by the return of our towering Kiwi, Callum. We swung some legs and pulsed some calves - then did our RWQ "What are you upcoming training goals?" Rosa was quick to respond, Brighton Half in Feb. Simon, making a spontaneous decsion, now is locked in for Brighton too. Paul, has a cool quirky goal, to beat his previous treadmill 5k PB (from a decade back). Sub 1845 or bust. Callum is considering a 2022 marathon, just needs to find the right one. Hils is eyeing up a Parkrun PB, probably at Victoria Docks, you wouldn't bet against her...

Once we arrived at the docks, we flashed Basia, not like that, with our head torches, clean your mind with soap immediately. Callum and I rearranged the gallery, for some upcoming educational events, then did some varnishing, obviously. I believe Simon, Paul, Rosa and Hils, were varnishing exclusively. They had the indulgence of gloves, me and Callum did not, our fingers will eventually web, but that's a sacrifice we're willing to make.

We managed to leg it back before the rains came tumbling in. I obviously got sodden on the way back home, like properly...hope you guys dodged it!

Next week is a social and a return to Newham Hospital. Get involved!

Till then
