It's a while since GG Bristol have been back at Springfield Allotments, always popular as it's at the top of a Really Big Hill.

Lisa took over as the lead for the site in March, just as everything was stopping so they've been coping with skeleton staffing one day per week. So not really coping!

Now we're allowed back to help, we're back in the thick of it. The polytunnel no longer has any poly, so isn't really a tunnel, so maybe it should have a new name? The not-polytunnel had been overtaken by bindweed in places, yet the tomatoes needing planting so it was a dig out, dig in task to get it back to useful life. Lots of watering as it had suddenly become incredibly warm and safe disposal of nasty weeds, then some planning for a coupe of future sessions to help to get some big work (well, 6-people-sized) out of the way before the clients can be back and being helped to cope with Covid19.
