Today Angharad and Mikey ran the roads to fulfil a mission.

It's an exciting year already as yet another runner joins the Mission crew, Welcome Angharad!

We both ran our decided routes to meet up close by, back to the lovely Mrs. J whom GoodGym have helped previously.

A lovely lady, welcoming us into her home but starting with those dreaded words. 'Here's the thing......' It turned out that she was helping out a friend by letting them park in her driveway which meant that we were unable to take the BIG green bin to the back garden.

Now here's the PLAN

Armed with plenty of bags we were to take to the garden on 'Border Control', extending the bedding area. Part already done on the last visit meant that we had standards to live up to.

Bag up the grass and sod that we lifted (not too much now) and then carry it through what is one of the cleanest houses I've seen. Eeek! After offers of tea, coffee or music, and a brief chat about what we do for a living we got to work. It took a while but we found our stride and soon we were seeing it transform before our eyes. luckily, or unluckily depending on your superstitions, the down pour from the birds over head narrowly missed both Angharad and Mikey - few..... Before we knew it the grass was no more so we did a little bit of clearing around Mrs. J's flowers to tidy up and then got ready for task two.

Careful, easy, don't rush or drop the bag.

After collecting all of the bags up by the house we both took a bag through (after removing our shoes), on the other side Angharad began emptying the bags in the bin (plus those of Mrs J's nice neighbour) whilst Mikey got to work lifting, and even hugging the final slightly broken bag through the house. I have to say that was a nervous moment.

Then it was OVER.

Not to be ones to just up and leave we had another chat, spoke about the areas that we live in. Mrs. J has a garage to paint yet, some I'm sure that we will be back some time in the future.

And of course we will look forward to it.
