A slight change in mission tonight, from packing rucksacks for rough sleepers to packing toys for families in Lambeth.
With that brough the joy of being inside for once, in a bright, dry church with a lot of toys to pack.
We got to work immediately, an assortment of toys and books to find a home with one of 20 families. Each family had an age profile and the task was to find appropriate books and toys for each child. Together we helped find the best matches for everyone.
Once all the bags were full it was time to pack up the vans ready for the toys to go to their new homes. The team were very greatful for the help.
