This weather is not to be sniffed at...

A shopping trip back to Asda, for John’s weekly essentials. The usual stack of frozen meals, as he still struggles on without an oven, and an array of tasty cooked meats and microwaveable vegetables. As the trip was quite late today, some items were unavailable, so substitutions were made...hopefully they are to John’s taste.

Although many of us have been enjoying the warm weather, of late, John has been struggling, so a few additions made the list this week...some extra vitamin C, and a much needed nasal spray...I do hope he feels better soon.

At present, there is no lifting of the shielding advice for John...or for any vulnerable over 70’s...and he is beginning to feel the effects of being isolated for so long. Cabin fever has begun to set in, and John is finding it more difficult to remain relaxed within the confines of his tiny flat. No mail today meant no new model for him to build. Fortunately, he has one or two on stand-by, and informed me that he is about to embark on the DeLorian, from ‘Back to the Future’.

It is always a privilege to be allowed to help someone like John.
