Mr J is a regular GG essential shopping task recipient, but he certainly doesn't take the help for granted.

Having been sheilding since last March, he has had some very difficult times. His mental health has suffered, and he has struggled with his physical health, too.

Throughout it all, however, he has tried to remain cheerful, and is always ready for a chat.

On my previous visit, Mr J was hoping to have hot back into his model making. Unfortunately, that has not happened, but he has been tackling crosswords in the meantime, to keep his mind active.

He is also looking forward to becoming more physically active, whenever he is allowed out, and showed me his new walking boots. I must admit, I was a little jealous, as my boots are falling apart!

We were so busy chatting, that we both forgot about carrier bags, as I set off for Asda. Mr J's shopping filled my two panniers, and backpack, and we had to decant it all into smaller bags when I delivered it to him.

That'll teach us to pay attention to the task in hand.
