There's too mulch bindweed in this veg bed!

Alex, Jo, Lindy, Nathan and Sam met up Simon and the Thorlands gang (not an actual gang...) at the Walled Garden to collect tools to finish off edging the veg beds in the Kitchen garden.

Alex and Jo went to collect the first lot of mulch whilst the rest of us cleared the veg beds of bindweed and started to dig up the trenches to put the wood logs down to create the best edge to the veg bed.

Once all the edging was done and bindweed taken out, Nathan and Sam went over to do three trips of bringing over the mulch to put on the beds.

The hour and a half was done in no time as they thoroughly enjoyed the glorious sunshine.
