Ms A has been unwell for a while so a few jobs in her lovely garden had gotten a bit out of hand – bring in the Goodgym team! Warmed up by a 6 mile run to location and a parkrun in the morning respectively Bryon & Peter arrived at Ms A to lend a hand. The storm damaged fence was a bit out of reach to fix, but turning over soil in preparation of planting tomatoes was just up Peter’s alley. With a mild drizzle coming down Ms A rightly decided using the electric hovering lawnmower would be a bit risky and since the grass was too long for the classic style mower, Bryon went in search of some shears to get the job done that way. Unfortunately all he found were some secateurs so that was what was used – the personal touch! The drizzle brought out the snails and following the instructions of Ms A they were disposed of in an ever growing snail cemetery. Chatting away time flew by and before we knew a binbag was filled with grass cuttings and it was time to finish things off. Ms A kindly offered some refreshments and didn’t take no for an answer, rounding off a pleasant mission with some stories about the garden and her husband and all sorts. Finally Bryon made his way home and Peter moved on (late) to another mission.

With Ms A being on the mend, she will hopefully be able to keep gardening for a few more years to come.
