It was a lovely sunny morning at Norwich junior parkrun today. 189 runners got out of bed early on a Sunday morning to run 2km around Eaton Park. And with the Magic of Thailand festival setting up near the bandstand, it was the marshals' jobs to ensure that everyone had a safe run.

Liz was sent off early to her marshal point to ensure that cars didn't come through the gate while the children were running. I was on marshal point 7, and when I realised that was near the skate park with the post in the middle, I have to admit I was a little worried about having to make sure that no one crashed into it as they raced round! Luckily no one did and I just got lots of high fives instead.

Mini GoodGymer Fletcher was completing his second parkrun with Brad and I met them at the end. Fletcher got a PB! I tried to get a photo with him in the photo frame, but he wasn't too keen, so me and Brad had a go instead.
