On a sunny Sunday morning, two jolly joggers ran to Barnet to help Mrs R tackle her unruly ivy! For Fay she had just run her longest distance yet of 8 miles! So after a stretch and a quick coffee we were raring to go! The amount of ivy was quite an overwhelming sight, but after we got going, we realised that progress was happening. Both of us had a go with the strimmer and managed to strim the ivy back to rediscover the wall! It gave the garden an extra couple of feet in length!! It turns out that stuffing ivy into bags is tougher than strimming it in the first place! Bags stuffed and grasshoppers and spiders rescued we realised how much garden space we had gained! Mrs R was very grateful and we left to enjoy our sunny Sunday!
