The Final Cat Ear

Starship GoodGym, powered by four legs, left planet Goat Gaol and warped to Acton. Tactical officer Kash kept looking back to check whether GoodGym was not followed by any escape goats. The starship landed on a harsh gravel surface. The crew disembarked and took tricorder readings. The sensors didn't pick anything unusual.

Communications officer Sevan approached the base where the crew was going to get their assignment. When all the possible modes of contact have been exhausted with no response, Sevan reached for his communicator and made a connection with a remote base. In the middle of the call, the gates of the Acton base opened and a figure in a white uniform revealed herself.

Officer A, who was in charge of the Acton base, tasked Sevan and Kash with suppressing the alien weed invasion before the stranger life form takes over the post. She provisioned the starship crew with the two newest models of Trow-L, a powerful weapon able to disintegrate the alien plants. Sevan and Kash were supposed to dispose of the weed particles into a green, hermetic receptacle and dispatch it into space to avoid further contamination of Acton and the whole Ealing System.

After a short time, the alien plant raid was stopped and samples of the defeated specimens were collected. Sevan and Kash beamed back to their starship and set off for their next assignment.
