The Bear Necessities

Another busy Asda shop for Mr J...typically, some of the shelves were bare, so I did a little ride around to a couple of smaller stores in order to fill his list.

On the way, I spent a minute or two admiring the Christmas display...and took the opportunity to put my feet up for a moment.

Often on these trips, I see some familiar faces...particularly parents of pupils that I have taught, and today was no exception. I happened upon not only a parent, but also some former pupils...and a new addition to their family. Three generations in all, a welcome encounter, and the exchange of some good news for once.
