Perfect weather for a six-mile round trip, to pick up a chicken and newspaper for Mr M.

The dogs and I enjoyed a stroll through the woods and along the canal, spotting signs of spring along the way.

Mr M was happy to be able to take a short walk up his street, to get a bit of fresh air and enjoy the sunshine. He hasn't had many opportunities to have a change of scenery, so wanted to make the most of it.

He has been struggling a little of late, as his eyesight has deteriorated. He has an appointment next week, when he will find out about treatment for a cataract...we are keeping everything crossed 🤞

On the canal, we met a couple who were training, and got chatting about running. It turned out that the lady, Elaine, belongs to the same cycle club as me (but we've not ridden together, owing to restrictions), and her partner, Ian, has friends in Bristol GG...small world 🌎
