An extra special community mission marking Mel's 200th and Rachel's 100th good deed! Featuring some car park parading (caped capers) in our lovely hand made capes / wings! And a first good deed for Geraldine - welcome Geraldine

For number six of our summer Lido trips, there was still plenty for us to do.

Sadly there was still a bit of the aftermath of a recent break in to clear away- India, Rachel and Geraldine with help from Lido volunteers Paul and Keith helped clear away some debris in the old viewing gallery (inc. the classic Goodgym find of some discarding clothing!) plus some general sweeping out.

Val did a lovely job carefully repainting a rusted screen door. While Mel and Sam led the way on gardening and clearing the site perimeter.

We did a bit fundraising brainstorming; appropriately themed movie screenings with BBQs. E.g. Jaws (possibly while in the pool on inflatables), Finding Nemo, Waterworld, er The Water Boy..?! Add your suggestions below! :-D

By the time 4pm came it was all looking much tidier :-)

We'll be back for more next Saturday, hopefully with less windy weather!
