Can missions during your lunch hour get more exciting? Try scheduling them right before a zoom call with an external party. It's a nice challenge for your physical capability, negotiating skills and luck!

The start of today's lunchtime mission for the Not a Fussy Gentleman, Mr M, felt like a déjà vu. He handed me the same list as on Friday one week ago - I could recognise my writing where I added some extra info. Upon closer examination, I noticed Mr M has added two cartons of Cup-a-Soup, changed "soap" to "bar soap", and amended some of the quantities of other items. I challenged the position with two bottles of shower gel as last week he said it would last him for a while. He was happy to cross that over. Later I realised I should have also challenged the two bottles of bleach!

I rushed to Iceland and navigated quickly between the aisles as I knew already where to find each product. The last time I did shopping for Mr M, I learnt about the existence of "bangers and mash" that must be the hot stuff as they were sold out completely today. Thanks to that, I discovered another staple dish, "toad in the hole", which I chose to buy as an alternative.

Iceland didn't have any more paracetamol, so I went to a nearby pharmacy to get it. I was still ahead of time. On the way back, I was surprised to encounter a flurry! That was definitely more snow than I have seen for the entire winter of 2021/2022 in London. When I arrived at Mr M's and unloaded the goods from my backpack and two bags I was happy to note he was still Not a Fussy Gentleman and very grateful for the help. I arrived back at my HQ with plenty of time before my call. With the Iceland map cracked, the timing of the lunchtime mission was not so risky after all.
