A small but perfectly formed first Waltham Forest and Redbridge collab at the new site at St Peter's in the Forest churchyard.

Arrival Both volunteers arrived at the same time and made their way to the (wrong) entrance of the church yard, kind construction workers let us through for us to find out the gate at a completely opposite side:)

St Peter in the Forest The church is currently being renovated, hopefully opening up to public in November so we had a behind the scenes view of the works and how it will look once it's open. The churchyard is very overgrown with ivy, brambles and all sorts of other weeds, overtaking the historical graves and paths. There is plenty of work to do and Katy and Julia cleared two small areas to reveal old headstones from early 20th century. It was a lovely, almost rain free, day so it was nice to get started at this new location:)

Look out for more missions at this site!
