Find out about GoodGym TaskForce

Today I cycled a little way across North London to help Miss M acquire some food she needs while sheltering.

Phoning her at the agreed time, she took me through her shopping list - this is the first mission I've ever started still in my pyjamas. With the list in hand (with the necessities, nice to haves, and the useful to haves), I cycled to her chosen Waitrose. After about half an hour in the queue (very relieved to have my Netflix handy - also shocked by a very friendly older chap waving and calling 'it's the GoodGym. HELLO GOODGYM' - a pal?), I made it into the store.

Shopping mission lifehack

If you've queued for half an hour to get in, make the most of it and do your own shopping at the same time - just use two baskets or a divvied up trolley, and remember to pay separately!

After finding most of the things on her list, I paid up - while having a chat with the lovely cashier who seemed well into the idea of GoodGym - then popped a hot cross bun in the bag with Miss M's bits and dropped it off for her.
