Seeing Double

Mr M has a set menu each day, so his shopping lists rarely vary from week to week. However, there are certain items that require some decision making on the hoof.

As with my own shopping, I always check for the longest dates, and also any bargains.

Today, I seemed to be seeing double...when the bramley apple pies are reduced, I know Mr M will want two boxes, he always has two small brown loaves, usually I have to get a twin pack of digestives, so today chose to buy two twin packs of plain and chocolate biscuits, two packs of prepared cauliflower is always on the list...but today they all had a short date, and looked past their best, so I picked up a fresh cauliflower, and two packs of cooked meat completed the shop.

Mr M was happy with the choices made...money was saved and he has enough sweet treats to last a couple of weeks 😁👍
