I thought I'd have another go at litter picking whilst getting my daily exercise. Unfortunately I was rather naive about how much I'd find as I started off running along a stretch of lane which I know had been cleared a week ago. Sadly there was enough there to almost fill my bag up before I'd even started on a new stretch of road. This meant that I had to abandon the task before I'd completed it and walk with my full and heavy bag to the next village until I could find a bin to leave it all in. I'll have to go back another time and pick up the rubbish I'd had to leave alone this time. Although I collected a whole range of things, including an empty wine glass abandoned in the hedgerow, the low point (which I have to admit to leaving where it was) was definitely the sheet of paper roll covering a pile of human excrement left in the middle of the farmers hard standing area by the side of the road. I won't be going back for that one :(
