Running out for gas

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.

Task 2 of my Wednesday double bill was to top up the gas and electricity cards for Ms Y, who has been marooned in her flat since the start of lockdown as she is shielding due to a health condition. I met Ms Y a safe 2m from her front door to pick up her cards, then it was off to the local Co-op to get them topped up. Ten minutes later, and I was back at Ms Yโ€™s with the cards full of juice. Ms Y was very grateful and said she would make a bank transfer straight away - being an old hand at GoodGym missions by now, she already had the GG account details. I assured her I was happy to help and said my goodbyes, stopping briefly to admire the roses in the communal gardens before making my way home.
