Here's what Miss E of KT6 had to say about the mission:

Thanks so much for the amazing team you sent this weekend..... I think this idea is totally & absolutely fantastic I’m so thrilled to have found you! Lovely to meet the girls, they were all a ray of sunshine on a rather wet day and did a wonderful job. I’m so pleased!

Miss E of KT6, mission beneficiary

It was an exceptionally wet and windy start to the weekend but that didn't stop Caroline, Gosia and Nicky from braving the storms and heading out to help Miss J.

Miss J provided a lovely warm welcome and explained the task ahead which involved hanging 7 pictures around her home. Each picture posed it's own unique challenges and it definitely tested our collective brain power, DIY and acrobatic skills! Thankfully Miss J was very well prepared with an exceptionally well stocked toolbox which is a site that warms the heart of many a GoodGym runner!

Keeping a level head (and picture!) at all times we gained new skills and also discovered a new love of picture hooks (Yes we now have a favourite!) Picture 1 was the newest of the collection and required new hooks and string to be added before it could be hung, Pictures 2 and 3 tested our collective measuring and calculation skills, Pictures 4 and 5 tested our stair balancing ability and by the time we got to Pictures 6 and 7 we felt as though we had definitely reached the pinnacle of our picture hanging prime!

When we finished there was no hanging around for us and we said our goodbyes and headed back out into the storm. A fun way to start the weekend and new skills badges earned all round!

Well done team Kingston! It sounds like a very educational mission! It seems like the perfect mission for the three of you too! I can just 'picture' you all organising and calculating!
