What wakes you up in a sunny Saturday morning? A cup of coffee? A freshly baked pastry? Or 181 like-minded people joining the weekly Saturday morning park run at Charlton?
This was a special week, not only a long bank holiday weekend; but also a group of Greenwich Avery Hill park runners came for a flying visit as park run tourism.
Pieter was the Run Director today, with Steve took charge as the funnel manager and also the volunteers co-ordination. Rhiannon gave out the finish tokens and Alex being the barcode scanner. I sorted out the tokens and put them in order. Job done and we were good to go ready for next week’s event.
