28 people and one film crew met at the Folk House on a beautiful warm Tuesday evening, intending to run to Windmill Hill City Farm. That was the plan....

We had to wait a few moments as the film crew from Made In Bristol set up their camera and microphones, and filled that time with an energetic warm up, but once Jack, the chap in front of the camera, had done his introductions, we headed off to the City Farm, looking forward to staring at sheep and posing with piggies.

We got to the farm in good time, but there was no one there to set us on the path to Good-hood! Kim went exploring but our contact was not about. This had the potential to be a tragedy, one about to be captured on film!

However.... actually, I'll say that again but bigger.... HOWEVER, Kim had a back up plan! We had aimed to send 7/8 runners to a group in Totterdown who needed help with some flower beds, but instead we sent all 28 runners there. The group we met up with, called TRESA (Totterdown Residents Environmental and Social Action), were a little surprised to get the whole GoodGym package but thanks to some quick thinking on their part, we soon had people spreading back chippings, weeding a flower bed (in what was called 'casual stand up GoodGyming') pulling up weeds from the base of trees and also for those with nothing to do, a few inverted rows and push ups.

The film crew managed to get some great shots of the gang in action and Jack was able to speak to a few of the less shy members of the group about the forthcoming Bristol 10K - the segment that they have created should in theory be shown on Monday so we can all cringe at ourselves and how our voices sound different to how we think they usually do.

After a massive blast of action and then some more exercises to allow Jack time to speak to 10k runners, we headed back in to Victoria Park where we wished Kim farewell and very good luck for her Edinburgh marathon that she's going to be doing this weekend. Once back at the Folk House, we had a great stretch and had a chat about a few 10k run tips. All the very best of luck to anyone who is doing the 10k, a marathon, a half marathon, a triathlon, or just going to to do either some sort of exercise or some kind of good deed! YOU ALL ROCK!

One last thing - due to the slight randomness of the run, I forgot to take a group photo of you all!
