Off with his Loaf...!

Today's mission for Mr A went really smoothly (I'd even found the exact sliced beef and pieces of salmon (two separate items...) he wanted at Sainsburys and unlike last week their shelves were full of ready made mashed potato too), until, just as I was about to head on home I discovered I'd walked off with his brown wholemeal loaf still in my backpack.

A quick dash back, ring the bell, wait for buzzer, sprint(!) up the stairs to a surprised Mr A, who admitted he hadn't even noticed the bread hadn't been in the shopping bag. I left him cradling his loaf as if it were a small puppy...now there's a sentence I never thought I'd ever write.
