Nettles sting but the heart sings

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Oxford.

Ms J and her doggie companion needed some help reclaiming their front and back gardens, and two GoodGym runners were ready to help! Five black bin bags worth of stinging nettles were pulled up from the back garden and a handful of ladybirds, slugs, and caterpillars relocated, meaning friends and family can now come over and enjoy the space. Creeping ivy was also cleared from a fence so that Ms J can safely use it to navigate the front garden when she's out chatting with her neighbours. After three hours of hard work, we left Ms J with a smile on her face as she can now go outside, enjoy the summer weather, and socialise. A GoodGym success!

Well done both of you on amazing first missions! It looks like you managed to clear so much!

Thanks Nikki! The time flew by and the space felt a lot bigger with the nettles gone! We both enjoyed a very satisfactory ice coffee afterwards! :D
