6 GGrs went to help this lovely community project this sunny winter morning, to spruce up this communal space this new year.
Activities included: hazel coppicing, digging up roots, bindweed stripping, hedge/ bush pruning, litter picking, new planting.
Kristina, our task leader is currently putting a bid together in looking to gain funding to support biodiversity improvements, mosaic repairs and border edging replacement materials for this green space.
Today we had a great turn out with over 15 volunteers in total, with GGrs enjoying toast and tea at Kat and Ash's after :)
We will post future Kent Road ginnel sessions on the GG site this year for future GG community missons :)
