Multi tasking

I was back at Stratford Town hall helping activeNewham As some of the regular volunteers have started to return to work it meant the hub was a little short of helpers and with 200 boxes needing to be packed and delivered it meant some multitasking from the delivery teams and their drivers.

My cabbie Cliff and I headed off to complete our first drop of 18 boxes and on our return we headed up to the packing room to help make and pack the boxes, filling with their tinned and dried ingredients,milk and tea before transporting them downstairs for the fresh produce to be added....then off we went to complete our second list of the day.....a quick lunch break and then back to packing to ensure we could complete our final delivery list of the day.

Back in on Friday....which is always busy as in addition to the hub completing 200 boxes they also have 150 bags to complete for local homeless who are now housed throughout Newham.
