Mr R²

After a 6.5 km run from Sudbury Hill via a scenic canal route and a heated yet unresolved debate about whether they are in Southall or Greenford, Sevan and Kash arrived at Mr R's. Interestingly, it was their second beneficiary called Mr R that day. In fact, he had a very similar name to the person whom the GoodGymers helped in the morning!

When they rang the bell, the door opened and Mr R's son let the visitors in and introduced them to his dad. The task was in the back garden and looked extremely simple: mow a small and quite well-maintained patch of grass. It took 10 minutes. In the meantime, Mr R's son showed Sevan how to switch off the power in the garage after using the mower, then disappeared. The GoodGymers didn't settle for a 10-minute task and entertained themselves by weeding the paving slabs and digging out dandelions from the lawn (an activity agreed with Mr R's son before he had to leave).

Before the GoodGymers finished the job, Mr R had another visitor - his daughter with her child. Sevan and Kash checked with her what to do with the weeds as they had forgotten to ask Mr R's son. She gave them a bin bag to pack the garden waste. When our protagonists completed the task, the second of Mr R's progeny was gone too. They should have figured it out earlier when the child's voice coming from inside the house went quiet. Sevan and Kash said goodbye to Mr R who thanked them for the work, and then ran back to Ealing to do the biggest task of the day: write a bunch of reports from Saturday!
