Mrs. J mentioned on the last visit that chocolate ice lollies were her favourite so I brought one along as a little surprise to make our afternoon pop hits singalong even sweeter. Today she requested hits by Lulu, Charlotte Church and Tony Bennett and I sang my best rendition of Patsy Cline's "Walkin' After Midnight" for her. We discussed gardening and her favourite flowers (poppies) and of course the conversation returned once again to our favourite topic: roast potatoes! Looking forward to our visit again next week to see what else we can sing together.
