3 Goodgymmers helped the Friends of Tottenham Green with a topiary extravaganza on a nice, balmy Wednesday evening

The First Rule of Fight Shrub is...

Reader, we have done a lot of weird things in the course of our many missions with Goodgym, but we were stunned when Laura from Friends Of Tottenham Green handed us some scissors and some secateurs and asked us to conjured up a tapestry of wild animals out of some much-loved but lockdown-ravashed bushes.

Mind you, these bushes had form. Many moons ago, goodgymmers had come and deftly created elephants, lions, and crocodiles. Last night it was our turn, and we embraced the challenge.

Louise concentrated on recreating a very hungry caterpillar, Cathy tackled the fierce crocodile, and Euclides attempted the King of the Jungle. After 45 minutes, Louise and Cathy came out victorious with their wonderful interpretations of the animals whilst Euclides' lion looked more like a fancy poodle done up for Crufts. Oh well, Laura was happy so all is well that end well.

We even had time to dig up some very stubborn dandelions and place some much needed mulch on the flowerbeds at the playground.

Boom!
