Liverpool

Mission

Litter and a Letter

1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Liverpool.

Ms C struggles with the stairs up and down from her flat, making it difficult to take the bins out herself. She had 13 bags of rubbish which had piled up and needed to be taken outside. After a short chat I got to work and within 10 minutes all of the bags were in the bin! It’s great to see how such a short and straightforward job for me has made things a little bit easier for Ms C. She also had a letter which needed to be posted which I happily did on my way home. Today was my first solo mission and I would encourage anyone who is interested but hasn’t registered yet to JUST DO IT. They’re a lot less daunting than you might think and really rewarding (pep talk over)!
