Just keep swimming.....

Post-sorting , gas & electric top-ups, and main shop for Mrs J this evening.

Nearly 1 year on since our first shopping runs, while I now may be cruising the supermarket with my typed up shopping list in oppose to my scrappy scribbled down list, hand scanning like a Boss (& feeling a lil' smug), I still havent managed to accurately estimate what size trolly is required! Trolly Jenga is real!

Lots of fresh produce and a fab chocolate cake were some of the items on the list this evening. Mrs J added wild bird seed to her list and was most delighted at the thought of being able to feed the birds something 'proper' in oppose to sharing a handful of her cereal with them when we were able to find it - this has kept me smiling throughout my evening!

I have also become very touched knowing how comfortable Mrs J has become to ask for items she wants rather than a short list of things (mainly for her wonderful little dog!) - currently, her request for Scampi fries has defeated me but I hear Iceland may answer my woes; hopefully next week I will come armed with the goods!
