It wasn't a cheesy litter pick but there was a mask-a-pony...what a "deer" pun!

So it was a Kingston and Richmond crossover , as some signed for both areas which means one report fits all!
Good turn out in terms of numbers who signed for this one but only a few sent through photos. From the reports we had we've seen some do litter bin relays, while others did a trail hike and some started picking up litter from the moment they left their house.
For the team I was in, one half of the dynamic duo was powering away and the other half...was me doing my best. We managed one and a half bin bags and a good collection of rubbish ranging from plastic, plastic, plastic stuff as well as dirty nappies, playboy bunny ears, a ninja turtle backpack, other stuff and 5 MASKS! On a 5km hike that is an average of ermmmmmm....ok I've got it! A mask every 1km!! (acceptable?)
Others did not quite find as many but did admit they were distracted by the lovely scenery within the Royal Parks, namely the deer because they are such "dear" creatures. Whilst others were admiring a beautiful horse trotting passed them as they walked, they nearly missed the mask on the floor.
Well done to all those that took part, even of you haven't shared your photos yet please do in the Whatsapp groups.
If you haven't done this task don't be sad there is always next week and the week after, and the week after, as I'm sure more people will continue to drop their masks, and rubbish, and plastic.
