Tonight's mission was to assist the very worthwhile charity, KVA, with their office move. The staff were moving most of the small items but had left the best (IE biggest, most awkward and heaviest) to us! We were prepped and ready though - a husband and wife team with years of experience running around after and picking up our children... what's a few pieces of office furniture in comparison?!

We didn't have far to move the items - in theory it was just up one floor to the mezzanine level and across the corridor. The lift in the building however only went to the ground floor and first floor and didn't stop at the mezzanine.... long story short, we decided it was best to take everything up then slide down the stairs to get to the correct floor - let gravity do the work! We found our technique, got our shift on and got the job done. A few aches the next day but it was worth it for a satisfying and worthwhile task. Mission accomplished.
