It’s definitely the winder season, but Worthing parkrun rained on the coast…
2 GoodGymers made their way 5.7km to help the parkrun - Worthing in Worthing.

As the last minute south coast parkrun cancellations flooded in (of course the pun was intended) two GoodGymers set off with one thought in mind - "if we are going to be on the seafront in the wind and rain, we'll make it so others feel they should make the effort." John helped with setup, creating a slightly different, and hopefully safer, finish area to the usual. It's fun for spectators watching runners skid over the finish line on their behinds. We've been told though that not all of the runners appreciate such indignity.
Belinda donned every waterproof she owns and brought up the rear as Tail Walker.
This was the lowest attendance at Worthing parkrun for some years, but the efforts of the volunteers were appreciated by all 214 finishers. We also had the opportunity to cheer the 100,000th finisher crossing the line.
