Imperial Soap-ing Mission

I got soaped in the downpour 💦🌧 on my mission to find two hard to find items - bars of imperial soap and the ever elusive hand sanitiser! The first queuing session was for Boots and I had half success there with some hand sanitiser acquired but went across the road to queue for Sainsbury’s to try for the bars of soap. Unfortunately once I’d made it inside I found I was out of luck there with empty shelves where bars of soap should be! I was thinking I might have to admit defeat as bars of soap seem so hard to find without joining another queue but then another option caught my eye outside the Sainsbury’s! Poundland!!! Like the pot of gold at the end of a rainbow, my luck was back! The shelves were all fully stocked with dozens of packs of bars of imperial soap as well as many more essential items!! Mission saved by Poundland! I’ll have to remember them! I was pleased to have found the two slippery items on the list and went on my way for a proper soaping in the torrential downpour to deliver to the door step for Ms A. She was very grateful to have finally acquired what she needed! On my way home the weather had cleared up so I carried on to deliver a newspaper to the door step for my coach and some welsh cakes through the letter box for someone else that was missing that essential item! Triple mission done to give me a good reason to get out of the house!! 👍🏼😅
