The GoodGym group were delighted when temperatures dropped a little on Tuesday evening as they enjoyed running in light rain to the Community Kitchen for this week's task. The team were welcomed by Jo who runs the Community Kitchen where everyone can cook, learn new skills and enjoy food together. And the best bit is that all profits support community cookery courses. Click here to find out about the myriad courses and activities that you can get involved in.

The runners were joined by two guests from Latest TV to make a Netflix series, er I mean short documentary, about the amazing work undertaken by GoodGym to date. Whilst we carried out a deep clean and ticked off the to-do list, Rachel and Amro shared their experiences about what makes GoodGym so great! You can see us in action on Latest TV tonight at 6pm and 8pm.

Jo treated us to strawberry shortcake ice-cream to cool us down further which we shortly afterwards burnt off in the fitness session in the vicinity of the i360 tower. The group was divided into (self christened!) fitties and shitties(!) and did a work out in the fresh air with sea views just meters away. What a perfect way to keep fit!

We had no new members to welcome today, but anyone that is interested just pitch up and before you know it you'll be part of the GoodGym gang!

We waved a sad farewell to Rikesh who is leaving us for a while to start a new job in London, hope you keep up the Goodgym action up there but don't forget your roots when it comes to the Goodgym Olympics next year! We've really enjoyed having you as part of our group and wish you all the best

Big congratulations to Tara for being the fastest female in the Bevendean Down parkrun. What a great result! And also big congratulations to Michael for becoming the second Brighton member to complete 50 good deeds. Who will be next?

Don't forget it's our monthly parkrun meet up this Saturday at Hove Park so hope to see you there.

(Thanks so much to Nipun for writing this week's run report, if you fancy a go then don't be shy, its great to have some different voices!)
