Yesterday Sainsbury's kindly donated 14 large tubs of fruit yogurt to FoodCycle, but unfortunately it had a really short date. FoodCycle Project Lead was keen to somehow keep the yogurt for a dessert for another day as we already had plenty of food for the evening's meal. I got up at the crack of dawn and got going with my icecream maker and managed to turn (or churn) all the yogurt into ice-cream (well fro-yo). It's now stored in the freezer ready for a sunnier day, when it will be delivered to FoodCycle for an instant pudding.
