It was my first visit to Ashbourne Recreation Ground parkrun, and with a sore leg, it was going to be hip hop tail walking. We walked through the memorial garden, which had Grandmaster Flowers growing to welcome us. We were there early, meeting a Rock Steady Crew of friendly volunteers. Four GoodGym friends were there: Huw, Pete, Tracey and me. Pete had brought Kim, making it a Funky Four Plus One. The others ran at Warp 9 and lapped me, but I had a lovely chat on the way round. We, The Sugar Hill Gang got together at the café for The Cold Crush Brothers, tea, and cake and a chat.
