2 brilliant runners from GoodGym Exeter took part in one of the hardest half marathons on Dartmoor - the Hammeldown Hammer! Amazing work guys!

Samuel did not just run the half marathon, he also ran all the way to the starting line from Oakhampton with his friend and Jimmy. They covered a total of 33 miles across Dartmoor, in strong winds, rain and with very wet and slippery grounds! Absolutely fantastic effort!

Big shout out to Florence as well who smashed out this half marathon, just two weeks after she set a PB at the Exeter half. What a fantastic month of running for you!

I was gutted to miss the race myself due to a chesty cough. However, having recently read about the very inspiring Anji, the GG trainer for Newcastle, and the consequences she suffered from running with a chest infection made this decision an easy one to make (you can read ll about her story here). There will be more races to come and I can't wait to take part in them with our GG group.

For now just a HUGE CHEER to Florence and Samuel! So chuffed for you guys!
