Mrs S' garden was so overgrown with roses that she could hardly open the door to get outside. We set to work cutting back everything in sight! Despite the rain and rose thorns, morale remained high as we cut, trimmed and swept the garden. By the end, the rainforest that was there when we arrived had been transformed into a much more manageable, accessible space! Mrs S was able to open her door and access the garden and her carer told us they were going to buy her a chair so she could sit outside and enjoy her garden again, like the good old days. When she came to inspect our handywork, Mrs S was really pleased with how much better it looked.
