Great race at Newby Hall

Jon and I went to check out the new 10k race at Newby Hall.

Despite the hot weather we both achieved great times with Jon finishing 25th and me 14th out of the field of 178 runners. The atmosphere was great, we were warmed up by the music and very energetic fitness instructor who tested our time estimation skills.

The event was well organised and we have provisionally said yes to go again next year.
